Trump's Granddaughter Receives Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Before LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete getting ready for major tournament

This young athlete maintains substantial social media audience

The young golfer can count on numerous well-known cheerleaders as she begins her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, received a special exemption to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, possesses numerous golf courses and regularly plays against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she stated.

Kai explained that her grandfather, unable to come, counseled her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"My grandpa essentially told me to compete and enjoy myself," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's just a regular grandfather. He can't make it for the tournament. He's focused on presidential duties, so he's rather occupied."

While still amateur, the golfer has competed in only three events in 2024 and maintains the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

However she can get advice from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with her mother.

"He stands as the best player globally," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's a superior human being. He suggested me to go out there, enjoy myself, and go with the flow."

Kai will face some of top competitors in the sport at the Annika, including second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that involving Kai brings the sport to new audiences, particularly with youth audiences.

The young star has a massive following and just introduced an exclusive clothing and lifestyle brand.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
