Jet Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Due to Fracture in Cockpit Window
A plane ferrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an unplanned landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday following a fracture was identified in the jet's front window, as stated by an official announcement which confirmed that Hegseth was safe.
"The aircraft landed following established safety measures and all passengers, among them Defense Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," a spokesperson commented in a online announcement.
He was traveling back from a quick journey to the Belgian capital when the incident occurred.
This event isn't the first time that a American defense plane ferrying a senior official has suffered mechanical issues.
